{ Meet Ebony }

I was so excited when I got home from work today and was checkin' out my daily blogs and discovered that I was one of 5 lucky winners over at The Greeting Farm for the new Weekly Digi Giveaway! The 5 winners all received a digi stamp of Ebony. Ebony is not currently for sale...but a little birdie told me that she might be available in rubber form sometime in the near future. ;0)

Anyway...of course I had to print some off and get playing! So everyone? Please say hello to Ebony...

I am lovin' this image and my card! The inspiration for the layout came from a Flashback Sketch from Julee...sorry can't find a link for it. And lucky me...this card actually followings the guidelines of this weeks challenge over at Anyone for Anya?. Hope you like her as much as I do!

I just realized that I should start posting more. I actually have lots to share with you...so I will be back soon!

{ TCC #10 Samples }

Now that, my friends, is one original post title!! ;0)






































Okay, so I managed a bit of stampin' time tonight and came up with my sample. Although, they are VERY simple, I am quite happy with them! The inspiration for these came from this little treat box that I came across last year. I just tweaked the pattern a bit to make it into a Gift Card Holder. These are super easy, but really fun to make. I did not have enough of the ribbon or buckles, so I had to make due with what I had. And I even used some flock on the buttons...just punched out some cardstock and flocked it! Although, now I think I have flock in my eye! Nasty stuff...but fun. :0)

I can't wait to see what everyone else has come up with. So far I have heard from 2 people and they look AWESOME!

{ MojoMonday 107 }

I actually managed to get some playtime in yesterday and actually managed to make at least one good card. ;0) Here is my take on MojoMonday 107. I actually had some issues with this one, but then ripped it apart and redid the red panels and like it much better now. Not sure if it shows up in the photo, but I used Swiss Dots on the main Garden Green layer and Snowflakes on the smaller red panels. I love this little High Hopes kitty...so cute.



















Hope all my fellow Canadians have a great Thanksgiving...where has the time gone...it has just seemed to sneak up...and Christmas is just around the corner!! Yikes!

{ Thinking of You }

Last week I need to send out a 'Thinking of You' card to a family of some friends from High School. This is a very simply card, but I love these Stamp It Australia DP images for doing Sympathy cards.

On a happier note...it was my bday this week and I received the new Wii Fit Plus from my Hubby and Mom. If you don't already have Wii Fit or if you have the old one? Get the new one! It is so much fun! My arms are sore from 'flapping my wings'...and no, I don't mean the flab under my arms!! ;0)

{ Tuesday Morning Sketches #13 }

Happy Friday to you all! I am kidless right now. The girls are on a playdate right now. They are off early on Fridays and were invited to a friends house this afternoon. It was a little nerve racking for little ol Mom. They took the bus home but stayed on and got off at their friends stop and walked home with her. But I now have my phone call that they safely arrived, so I am good now. ;0)

Okay so onto the card. This is my entry into this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketches. I decided lastnight to play for a bit and managed to make two cards that I really love. Again I am using up some colored images that I have in my stash...and believe me there are lots!! This was an image that I stamped off of Dianne at one of or Calgal nights. This is a Whipper Snapper image I believe and the DP is from the Angel Company.

I am not working this weekend, so I hope to possibly get in some more stampin' time. Hope you all have a great weekend...and stay warm...there is a possiblity of some s*** here tomorrow!! Yikes!
