{ MojoMonday 107 }

I actually managed to get some playtime in yesterday and actually managed to make at least one good card. ;0) Here is my take on MojoMonday 107. I actually had some issues with this one, but then ripped it apart and redid the red panels and like it much better now. Not sure if it shows up in the photo, but I used Swiss Dots on the main Garden Green layer and Snowflakes on the smaller red panels. I love this little High Hopes kitty...so cute.

Hope all my fellow Canadians have a great Thanksgiving...where has the time gone...it has just seemed to sneak up...and Christmas is just around the corner!! Yikes!

{ High Hopes Polkadot Challenge }

That about says it all...

I decided to play with this weeks High Hopes Challenge. Sorry for the blurry pic...but I am just too lazy to go down and take another one! ;0) Well, this one definitely has lots of Polka Dots. I would have never thought of a boy card with a Polka Dot theme, but I happened to have this image already colored and decided to use him. I used Swiss Dots, Tiny Bubbles and Spots and Dots embossing folders with this one. Very simple, but a great boy card if I ever need one!

Okay, I am off to sell my kids to the Circus!! Just kidding...is it really only the second week of Summer Holidays?? ;0)

{ So Very Sleepy }

That is me today. Just thought I would pop in and do up a quick post. I am still around, but unfortunately not much creating going on around here. The past week has been...well...it has just been. As some of you know, my MIL has been going through Chemo for Breast Cancer. She finished up her last treatment 3 weeks ago, but has taken a turn for the worse. She has been in the hospital since Monday...for a number of reasons. Not only worrying about her but also my FIL. He is at the hospital from morning till night and it is definitely taking a toll on him. Plus both my girls have been sick this week too. So just a lousy week overall. We will all get through it though...just have to stay positive...as much as possible.

On one positive note...the kids only have 10 more school days left for this year! Woohoo! I am definitely looking forward to the summer. And we have actually had a few days of nice weather here...finally!!

I will leave you with an old creation that I believe I have not shared yet...if I have? Just pretend you haven't seen it yet, kay?

This one is using a High Hopes image that I received as a RAK from Charlene and some older SU DP and of course colored in with my Copics. I don't think my Copics remember who I am...it's been over a month since I even picked one up! Soon...very soon.

{ Weekend Fun! }

Just a quick post. I only have a few hours until I leave for the Calgary Classic. That is right...a whole weekend of just stampin'. Although, hubby has decided to share his sickness with me. I am hoping that once I get there and am surrounded by stampers, stamps, ink and paper that I will magically feel better!!

Okay, here is a new creation for ya. I did this one a few weeks ago but just never got around to posting it. This is a
High Hopes image that I recieved as a RAK from my stampin' friend Charlene. This was a fun one to color. Thanks again Charlene!!
Well, I am off to get the girls from the bus, have a quick bite to eat and then my friend Dianne is coming over and we are gonna head on over to the Calgary Classic.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! I know I will!

{ Lovin' Sydney...}

Just a quick post before Idol starts. ;0) Here is a new creation using an image that my friend...and new mommy...Charlene sent me. I am so luvin' this little guy. I also used some great DP that Charlene had found at a local dollar store...love this paper!

Have a great night all!

{ Happy Christmas? }

Well, you would think so looking at this!

Yesterday afternoon was +12C and there was absolutely no snow in my backyard. Then this is what I awoke to this morning!! Plus massive wind! Yuck.

So I guess this card I made is quite fitting...

This is a HighHopes image that I had colored a long time ago with my SU markers. I love this image...so fun!

Looks like the worst of Em's illness is over. Just trying to get her eating back up to where it should be. She is so thin to start with that it takes a lot out of her when she is sick like this. I keep pushing food on her...only because I can see every rib and vertibrae!! On another note...I think her sister must be going through a growth spurt. She has been eating non-stop since Friday!! I am not exagerating either!! She has to stop eventually...right???

Thanks for stoppin' by and have a great Monday!

{ Another Weekend Sketch Challenge complete! }

I managed to get a bit of stampin' done yesterday. Not only did I work on a Beates' Weekend Sketch Challenge, but I also got one of my own New Years Challenges done. I decided that I want to do 4-6 Christmas cards each month, so that I don't have a ton to do at the end of the year again! So low and behold...here is my first Christmas card of 2008...and it's only January!! I know...I am probably the only one in blogland working on Christmas cards, but it's a start! ;0)

This one is done using another image that I swiped off of Shannon, during one of our Calgal gatherings. I believe this is a High Hopes image. I just luv this one! I am thinkin' I might have to get this one on my next High Hopes order. I also used the Verve Visual set and snowflake brads that I won from Toni. And also the DP was from a stack that I won from Cindy! And I used my new Nestabilities!! Okay the cardstock, ribbon and ink were mine. ;0) Thanks ladies...see I am putting it all to great use!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It has been a pretty lazy one here. The girls are on the mend. The weather turned a bit chilly and snowy here, so it is a good weekend to stay indoors and stamp!!

Be back tomorrow with another Pink Cat Studio creation I did this weekend. :0)

{ So in love...with High Hopes! }

Yes...I think I am in love! I was playing again with the High Hopes images that I stamped off of Allison. I really need to place an order...and soon!! And I really need to get a head start on my Christmas cards. I think this makes about 6 or 7 so far. Only...too many to go!!

Stay tuned...I will be announcing October's Happiness Challenge on Friday!! It's all about me! ;0)

{ I am in love with...Milton! }

Shhhhh...don't tell my hubby! It is soooo true. I am truly in love. Who is Milton, you ask? Here is Milton...

This is one of the 'High Hopes' images that Allison so kindly let me stamp off. Isn't he just the cutest?! And so fitting, since it is SNOWING right now!! Yup, that's right! I am not lovin' that, but am lovin' my card. I even used my Prisma pencils blended with Odorless Mineral Spirits! I am very happy with this one! You ever make one of those cards that you just can't seem to part with? I am thinkin' this maybe one of those ;0) I am definitely making a 'High Hopes' order in the VERY near future!!
