{ An old one... }

Surprise! Yup...I am still alive. ;0) Just thought I would do a quick pop-in to say hi. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am soooooo looking forward to summer!! This weather we have been having? It really sucks!! Where is the sun?? I am so sick of cloudy, windy, rainy days!! We had a nice weekend and then poof...it was gone again.

The kids only have one more week of school after tomorrow! No more early mornings...no more gymnastics...no more ballet...2 whole months of freedom...and hopefully between the girls and the dog I don't go insane!! ;0)

Here is an old one that I don't think I ever posted. This was a bday card for my good friend Dianne. She is a HUGH Pooh lover...check out her blog and see her stamproom and you will see what I mean. I also made her something else to go with this. I will see if I can find the pic later and post that too...it was a first for me.

Hope you all have a great weekend. I am hoping to maybe get some stamp time in the next few days...gotta make a Fathers Day card or two and a bday card too...but we will see.

{ 6 more sleeps! }

Wow! Time sure does fly. I can not believe that it is really only 6 more sleeps till Christmas. Wow! Just thought I would pop in and do a quick post. Today is also the first day of Winter Break for the kids...and so it begins...threw them outside so I could do some tidying up with out listening to them argue...yes, it has begun already! Oh well...hopefully I can get them baking today and then they get to help clean up the playroom downstairs...how fun, eh?! ;0)

I have a card for you that I created a few weeks ago. I was lucky enough to win a gift card from Verve Stamps awhile back and this was my first creation using my new Believe set.

I look forward to playing more with this set!

I hope to be back a few times this week, but no guarantees. ;0)

{ One quick post }

and then it is back to the couch for me. Yes, that's right. I whole week back to school and I am already sick! Not funny...not funny at all!! Oh well...so far it has just stayed in my sinuses and head...as long as it does not go into my chest...cross your fingers for me.

Anyway...thought I would share one quick creation with you all, since it has been a while...

This was a card that I gave to Shannon when all of us Calgals had a little baby shower for her and Miss Hailey. I knew that Shannon had done Hailey's room with a bunch of Pooh images. I thought I would make this card with an image that I thought might not be as well used. I was happy with the way it turned out. Must get using my cricut more often. And must get busy makin' some scrapbook pages. Still only have the few that I have shown you of our Disney trip last year...many, many more to go!! One day...when I'm old and grey...which sadly, is not that far off!!! ;0)

{ Drum roll please... }

The moment you have all been waiting for...heehee...Scrap page #3!!

I apologize for the lousy photo, but you get the idea. Trust me..it's much better lookin in person. ;0) This was a scrap page that I had created at a Cricut class I took lastyear at The Scrapbook Pantry. I decided to add some elements to it. I was not entirely sure that I liked it, as the photos are quite small, but in the end, I think I do like it now. I am going to try and do up another page maybe this week...you will have to stick around to see.

Be sure to drop in tomorrow, as I will be posting May's Christmas Card Challenge. Once again, I do not have a sample done up. I will get one posted by the end of the weekend though...I promise!!

{ TCC #2 }

** This post will remain sticky until March 1st. Please scroll down for new posts **

It is time for Tracy's Christmas Card Challenge. Are you ready? This months challenge is a 'simple' one. That's right. I for one have a hard time with 'simple' cards. I always want to keep adding more stuff to it. So with that in mind here is your Challenge...

* You MUST make 5 cards...they do not have to all be exactly the same but they must use the same MAIN image

* Your cards MUST be square...any size you choose

* Your cards MUST not have a sentiment on the front...inside only

There you have it. Simple enough...but trust me this one will be a challenge.

So once again...you have until 11:59PM(MST) February 28th to post your cards on your blog and leave me a comment on this post with a link or email me a photo of all 5 cards and I will post a pic for you on my blog once the challenge date is complete. A random winner will be selected and will receive a small RAK from me as a thank you for playin' along.

I know that my photo only has 1 card. I ran out of time and wanted to get this post up. I promise to post another pic of all 5 cards once I get them done...just to show you that I have completed my own challenge! It is hard to tell in this photo, but I scored a boarder around the edge of my card and also added some glitter pen to the outer edge of the top layer of the snowflake. I love this snowflake die! Yes, another Cricut creation.

Okay...go get your 'simple' on...

{ Little Rays of Sunshine...}

There were a few this week. Not to rub it in or anything, but I just had to share. I was lucky enough to win a couple of candy winnings this past week. First off was this little beauty...thanks again Nancy for the heads up on this one!
And then remember my last post with the Anya card for the Case the Anya Contest? Well I won!! How cool is that? So I won Skater Ian and the Digi Geisha Anya(which is now gone as a digi image and being made into a stamp!) Very cool!
Okay...I know these are late, but I forgot to share my Valentine's creations with you all!

This first one was my creation for my hubby.
This was my creation for my two lovely girls. Lets just say that my Cricut got a good workout this Valentines Day!!
This little beauty was created by my lovely girls. Daddy gave them one of his canvas's and let them create. It is now hanging in my craft room!

This was my Vday gift from my family. Hubby actually made the holder for my copics all by himself! Although...not sure that I was so happy that he used this particular paper from my stash! ;0)

This last one, I just had to share. My youngest did this one the other day...all on her own. The only thing I did was stamp the image for her to color! She did all the coloring, piercing, scoring...everything! Pretty darn good. Daddy even told her, he thought she is getting better than Mommy!! ;0)
Thanks for stoppin' by...

Just thought I would share my daughters bday card I did last week. Again, another Cricut creation. And yet there will be more Cricut creations to share. ;0)
Guess I should start stampin' eh?

Hope you all have a great Valentines Day! Thanks for stoppin' by...

{ Where did the week go?? }

I can't believe that it has been a week since I last posted. I really am sorry. Life has been busy and I have not been feeling well. But here I am now. Here is one thing that I was doing this week...

My youngest turned 6 yesterday and we had her bday party this past Sunday. We went to the Fire Escape. It was soooo much fun! I highly recommend it. The kids had lots of fun and hubby and I are planning to go next week on a 'date'. I will try and take some pics of the finished projects...they look awesome!

Here are the projects I made for the kids lootbags. These were fun and luckily I only had to make 7! I have a ton of these coasters, so I might be making more of these. Thanks to Joy for the awesome idea! I have been having lots of fun with my Cricut lately. I will share more later.

Thanks for stoppin' by...I will get busy this weekend and do up my samples for the next Christmas Card Challenge...stay tuned!

{ Where's the creations? }

I know, I know. I will be honest. There really has not been much creating going on here lately. I have been playing with my Copics quite a bit, but have not actually created anything with the images yet...yet! But I have also been playing with my Expressions lately too. So here is the first creation. Nothing too exciting I know...but it is the first! These were my youngest daughters bday invites for this weekend. I am actually quite happy with the way they turned out. They are just a simple postcard style with all the info printed on the back. I have a loot bag project that I am finishing up that I will share soon.

Thanks for stoppin' by...I am off to bed now...
