{ Just Because }

Well...I was looking through all my photos of creations I have done and realized that I never posted this one. This was my take on a Farm Fresh Friday sketch challenge from Sept. I posted it on time in the gallery but never posted it on my blog. I love this sketch, but I love all of Cindy's sketches. I was happy with the way it turned out.




















I decided to change up my blog template again. As you can tell, I get bored with it quite frequently. ;0) Anyway...I quite like this one...it might even take me into the Christmas season...maybe. ;0)

Hey All,

We are leaving in a few hours for a week of camping @ Gull Lake. Hope everyone has a great week and I will post something new when we get back and I am sure I will have some camping pics to share too. ;0)

Here is a quick creation to share with ya for now though...my July OCS ...go check out the link to sign up for August...that I sent out to my partner. I hope she likes it as much as I do. This was a fun one to make!

{ Woohoo!!! Camping here I come!! }

Just wanted to do a quick post before we head out for the first camping trip of the season! I am just a little excited...can you tell? We are heading off to Mt Kidd for a few nights...so I thought I would leave you with a new creation. I actually got the camera working long enough to take a few pictures...but now it has conked out again! Ugh! Hopefully when we get back I can get it figured out. Just means no pics for this trip. :0( Oh well...how many pics of Mt Kidd can one really have, right?

Here is my Calgal creation from last week. It was Merlie's turn to choose a sketch challenge for us. The image that I used was quite big so I ended up making mine a big larger. I like it, but I think maybe the proportions are a little off...I don't know.

Well...hope you all have a good week. I will post something when I get back...maybe Thursday as I am working ALL day on Wednesday and might not have the time.

{ Not much bloggin' }

Sorry folks...not much blogging lately and I am afraid there won't be much in the near future either. It will be spotty over the summer. I am having some camera issues right now and not sure that I will get them fixed any time soon, so that means not much for bloggin' I am afraid. So I will leave ya with this one for now and can't promise anything as far as new creations getting posted for a bit...

This was an image that I stamped off of the lovely miss Merlie during one of our Calgal nights. I made this card for a bday party one of my girls went to this Spring...I think. ;0)

Only 3 more days left of school for our girls and then SUMMER HOLIDAYS!!! Woohoo! We are off camping for 2 nights at Mt Kidd this week...looking forward to some hot tub time!

{ Back to the Wild Things }

But yes, back to the Wild Things...here is number 4 in my 5 part series. Again the same sketch as the others. I do like this one...a little bold, but still like it.

Well, today was yet another cold and dreary day in Calgary. I sure hope things are gonna start warming and brightening up. I am getting might ticked with Mother Nature!!!

This post is a short one I am afraid...not feeling great tonight.

{ Happy Easter All! }

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter. We are playing it low key this year. No big family dinners this year...I am still not feeling great.

We are enjoying the beauiful spring weather here in Calgary though! Wish I had a picture, but imagine this one if you will...my oldest daughter...outside...tshirt and shorts...rubber boots...playing in the snow! It was a sight to behold! Too funny. Hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy some beautiful Spring weather as we are.

Here is a quick card for you. This was my card for my One Card Swap for March. This is a Swap list put on by the lovely Teri. Be sure to check out her blog if you would like to play along. She usually has the sign up post on her blog during the last week of the month. This was my first creation using the lovely Geisha Anya. I was not thrilled with this one, but it is growing on me. I am just not too sure about my color choice. I hope my Swap partner enjoyed it though.

{ Wishing You A Very Happy Day }

Wow! Time sure does fly! I can't believe it's been a week and a half since I last posted. So Sorry! The girls were on Spring Break last week...and we actually were busy for the most part. So not much time for creating and quite frankly I have not really had much inspiration for creating. I have done a TON of coloring with my Copics and decided that I MUST create some cards with all these images before I color anything new! So that is my goal for the up coming week...hopefully!

Here is an old one I had not posted yet. Another Anya creation for ya. This is Princess Anya. She is a very popular image in my household as you can well image. ;0) I was quite happy with this one. I know that this was inspired by a sketch, but I can not remember which one! If I think of it I will let you all know.

I am off to take a pic of my Christmas Card Challenge samples. I have had them done for awhile, just no time to get them posted...sorry! And I also have my March Aloha RAK to show you all too. Back soon...

{ Club Anya Gallery Case Contest }

The card that I cased was made by Pam Varnell. I do not own Angel Anya yet, so I did mine with Mermaid Anya. There were sooooooo many amazing cards that I could have cased...so I just chose one of the first ones that sparked something in me. I must say that I am lovin' this card! I added lots of gems and added some glitter to the bubbles on the cuttlebug background. I used some new dp I picked up at the Pantry this week...Twitterpated - Colorfall - Imaginisce.

{ Greeting Farm Sketch Challenge for Candy Entry }

That was a big post title! Whew!


Okay just wanted to share my excitement! I received my first order of Anya stamps this week and just in time to play along with the Sketch Challenge for Candy! Woohoo. So here she is...Princess Anya!

I did leave off one layer from the sketch, but I did not want to cover up this oh so cute dp! These Anya stamps are just too much fun to color. I will definitely be buying more...and soon!
