{ More RAK Love }

Just wanted to share another RAK I received this week. Linda sent me an email last week to let me know that my June Aloha RAK was a bit late but on it's way. Well...it was worth the wait!! Check out the All Natural Accent flowers she sent me! I have been admiring these on all the Hawaiian bloggers blogs. Now I get to play with them! Thanks again, Linda!

{ Nice RAK! }

Quick post, as my girls will be home from school soon!

This first RAK is my April OCS from Marisa. This is such a cool card. I forgot to ask her, but that embellishment on the front almost looks and feels like a stamp...very cool. Thanks again, Marisa. If you interested in joining the OCS be sure to check out Teri's blog for all the details!
Lastly, this was my April Aloha RAK that I received from Monique. Monique and I swapped some emails and she learned about my Disney love...as she does too...and sent me all these goodies. I absolutely love this card!! It is so simply yet is just perfect! I am gonna have to case this card...well the Mickey head anyway, cause I don't have this particular background stamp. I can not wait to dive into all these yummy Disney embellishments...oh and check out the awesome Disney album she made! Thanks again Moe!

Have a great weekend all. I am off to stamp with the Calgals tonight. Hopefully, Nancy's sketch tonight will not fry my brain too much...wish me luck!!

{ Late in posting...}

I am so bad at posting RAKS lately. I do apologize to those of you who have sent them. I do email people to let them know that I received them...just forget to post them! Please check these out!

I have been playing along with Teri's One Card RAK group the past few months and this was my first RAK partner...Eunice. I just loved this card...and so did my girls! I believe that Eunice has a much better group of photos on her blog so go check it out! Thanks again Eunice.

For March I was matched up with Denise...who was mighty quick on her RAK. I think I received this one a few weeks ago and just set hers out yesterday!! This was her first Magnolia card and I think she did a fabulous job! Go check out Denise's blog for more awesome creations. Thanks again, Denise.

I also recieved my Blog Candy winnings from Our Craft Lounge this past week too! I have not cracked it open yet, but will have to sometime this week. I am thinkin' those flowers are gonna be fun to color!

Back later with another new creation.

I am off to my appointment with the surgeon tomorrow...wish me luck!

{ RAKS and little Blogging Break }

Now theres a title for ya, huh? Okay, first off I just want to apologize for not getting this posted sooner, but I have been crazy busy and my camera and computer were out of commission for a bit. Anyway, now I want to share my October Aloha RAK that I received from De. Thank you so much De...and you have to tell me where you got that cute little Hawaiian shirt post-it on the inside!! :0)
Okay, now to the other part. I have decide that I am gonna be taking a bit of a blogging break from now until the New Year. My in-laws are gone for 5 weeks to Hawaii...which means I am working LOTS over the next 5 weeks and well...I just need a bit of a break for the bloggin' thing. I will still be poppin' in to see all my favorite bloggers. I will still be posting in regards to the Aloha Monthly RAK group and if I find some crafty time I will most likely post a few creations here and there. But over all my posts will be non existent. Hope everyone understands, but it is just needed right now.

{ RAK's and RAK's and RAK's...oh my! }

Just have a few BRAK's(Birthday RAK's) that I realized that I had not shared yet! Bad Tracy!

This first one is from my friend Catherine. I had commented on Catherines blog one how much I loved this stamp and she sent me the card! Thanks Catherine...and for the goodies too.

This next one was a card from a fellow CSTer...that's an online Stampgroup for Canadians. This one was from Carole Mork. I just think this is such a great card. My hubby even liked this one! Thanks Carole.

Next, I wanted to share a card that one of our Aloha RAK group members received. Dianne does not have a blog so she asked me to post this awesome RAK she received from her RAK partner Charlene. She also received a DVD tin FULL of awesome goodies!! Lucky you, Dianne. :0)

Okay...I will leave you with one of my creations from the Calgary Classic Weekend. This was done with an image that I swiped from Nancy...love it! And the DP is from some paper I got for my bday...this one is from the Oriential Trading Company...some really cute paper!
I am off to work...thanks for stoppin' by...oh! And don't forget to sign up for this months Aloha RAK group! Details are at the top of my blog!

{ Check out these goodies! }

Just thought I would share all the goodies I received from my family for my bday today! My mom spoiled me with a bunch of stampin' goodies. Now there might be something missing. I actually put everything away before I took the pic...so I had to try and remember everything! There was also a ton of DP, but couldn't really get a good pic of it all. I know...spoiled! Thanks again, Mom. :0)

Next up? Lookie what my family made me and gave me for my bday! Hubby kinda took one of my cards from my stamp room as a template so he know what size to cut the paper and...well he said if it wasn't for the girls he would have no idea how or where to find everything! Too cute, eh?
Check this out!! This is a Scrapbook Album that I saw in Disneyland in May when we were there. I debated on whether or not to buy it. And finally decided not to. I was not sure I would really get into scrapping and not sure I wanted to do 12 X 12. Of course when we got home I wish I had bought it! Well hubby ordered it for me! He had a bit of a struggle...they have since discontinued it, but they found 2 left in the warehouse and shipped this one out to him!!

Here is a close up of the medallion! How cool is this? It now holds my only 2 scrap pages from our trip...this one and this one. I also received some bubble bath and a pink hoodie from Costco! All in all a good bday. :0)

{ Gift giving Season is upon us! }

That's right! I originally saw this tutorial on Beates blog and thought what a great way to use up some of the 500 coasters I have! This was the project I did this month for my class. This would make a great Christmas or winter Bday gift. And this Stamp It Austrailia paper is perfect! Anyone in the Calgary area can pick up this paper at the Scrapbook Pantry. So...what do you think? I was planning to use my Bind-it-all, but I did not have the right sized coils for this project and could not get any in time. But I think the ribbon actually gives it a nice 'romantic' feel. Think I will be making some more of these!

Also, before I forget...here was my September Aloha RAK that I received from Colleen. How awesome was this?! Love that little matching mint holder. I can not wait to dig into those mints...I almost forgot about them. ;0) Thanks again, Colleen.

I also recieved some BRAKs yesterday. This first one is from my friend Nancy. And she used her new TCP stamps too! Thanks again, Nancy. :0)

The second one is from Joan(froglady @ SCS). What a fun card. I love that stamped background! I really should try this more often. Thank you so much, Joan for thinking of me.

I have a couple of 'tags' that I need to work on that I have received from a few people the past week or so. I will be back...

{Fevers, Candy winnings and RAK's}

How's that for a creative title? Sorry, not feeling so creative today. It was a looooonnnnnggggg night. Our oldest was sick with a fever lastnight and she does not deal with fevers well...at all! Some of you may have this same problem. Anytime she has a fever we know we are in for an interesting experience. She usually is hard to control. She tends to act very strange. Lots of confusion, uttering jibberish and crying. And lastnight was no exception. She even had some uncontrolable shaking which freaked her and me out too! She said she was having falling dreams all night too...which did not help either. But she is better today. Although, I did just give her some more Advil...the fever is starting to return, but not too bad at this point. Just a lazy day in our house today.
Okay onto better stuffs...
Thought it was high time to show off some of the Candy winnings and RAK's I have received over the past few weeks.
This first one is from my friend Catherine. I had sent Catherine a card a few weeks ago and this was what she sent to me! I have seen some of these necklaces on her blog, but now I have one of my own. Although, my girls seem to have stolen it! Thanks again, Catherine. :0)

This next one is actually my August Aloha RAK from Teri. Not only did she include this awesome card and Cuttlebug folder, but check out the cute altered mint container! So cute. Thanks again, Teri!

And now onto all my recent candy winnings! First off was my challenge win over at Jen's blog for her store LittleC's. I won this adoreable High Hopes stamp. Thanks again, Jen!

Then I was lucky enough to be picked by Dawn for this cute camping set by SUI. I have not opened this one yet, but hope to maybe later this week. Thanks again Dawn for picking my name!! :0)

And lastly, I was lucky enough to win one of the random draws over at SCS for the Verve Anni-Verve-sary Challenge. I won my choice of a $15 set. This was my choice. As you can see, I have used the sentiment, but have not played any further yet...yet. I am hoping to play with this one this week too! Thanks again, Julee!

And now I will leave you with a little creation of mine from last week. I finally decided to try out one of those cute little circle Nestie cards I have seen everyone doing. And I also used my first EVER rub-on! Yup...that's right. Finally! It came out a little off center, but I really like the final result.
Hope everyone has a great day and thanks for stoppin' by and listening to my looonnnggg ramblings today. :0)

{ MIA...but I have some good reasons! }

I know, I know...I apologize. I can not believe it has been a whole week since my last post! It has been a very busy week here in our household. We have had El's bday, Valentines Day, work, El's bday party, work, Family Day(holiday Monday) and then we also booked and paid for our Disneyland trip and got our passports! Yup, that's right...we are going to Disneyland, baby!! But...sssshhhhh...it's a secret...we are planning on not telling the girls until we are on our way to the airport! That's the plan...we will see if Daddy and I can stick with the plan. We have almost let it slip soooo many times. Must bite my tongue!

We are staying at the Fairfield Inn in Anaheim. So if anyone has any review of their own, I would love to hear them. We were last in Disneyland in 1996...OMG!...so the motel we stayed in is actually no longer there! A lot has changed since then. ;0) I will apologized now...you are gonna be sick of hearing about Disneyland by the time we actually go. 10 weeks today we leave!!!

Okay back to stampin' stuffs...

I want to share this awesome RAK I received from Alexandra last week. I had commented on Alexandra's blog about how I wish we had a Target Dollar Spot up here in Canada. Then a few weeks later, lookie what I recieved in the mail!

Not only did I receive this awesome card, but two of those adorable mailboxes! Thank you again, Alexandra! I can not wait to alter these babies. Although, it will probably take sometime to decide on the perfect DP. ;0)

Also, this week I was tagged with a few awards. First up was being nominated by Allison for the 'Bitch' award. At first, I was not too sure what to think about this one, but you need to check out Allison's blog for the details. Thanks, Allison...I feel kinda proud after reading your explaination. :0) I am so far behind on bloggin' this week that I know that most of you out there have already been tagged. So to all my bloggin' friends...and you know who you are...consider yourself a 'bitch'. ;0)

Next I was tagged by my friend Kim for the E for Excellent award. Thank you so much, Kim...it really means a lot! Especially since I feel as though I have been neglecting my blog lately. ;0) Again, I see that many of my bloggin' friends out there have been award with this honor already...so if you stop by and have not been tagged...consider yourself tagged...I know that was lame...sue me! ;0)

I really do have something to share though...here is a card I did up last week. Not 100% sold on this one...seems to be missing that something. I am thinkin' it is just missing some bling...what do you think?

Well, I think I will call it a night. It has been a pretty crazy day. I actually ended up posting this on another blog by accident today...duh!! Then the girls and I were at the dentist today. This was a first for my girls...I know we are a bit behind on that one. All went pretty well. Elizabeth was good and no cavities...yahoo...but Emily has got a mouth full of teeth and no room at the Inn, plus 3 cavities...boohoo :0( So we will be back 3 more times for the fillings/caps and then looks like she will be looking at some molars being pulled and braces in the future. Then I am back a few more times over the next month too. This dentist is gonna love us over the next few months!! Oh well...gotta be done.

I promise this week to be a better blogger...honest. ;0)

{ So very spoiled }

Okay first off...I am soooo very sorry for not posting for a whole week!! I have no idea where this past week went.
Over the past few weeks I have been very spoiled with RAK's...here we go...
This first one was a beautiful Christmas RAK from the lovely miss Jen. Okay, we all know how crappy our postal system is but, come on! Jen sent this right after Christmas at the begining of January and I just received it this past week! Wow! But it was worth the wait. Thanks, Jen!
This next one was my January JT Aloha RAK from Melissa. Love this HM card. So cute. And the little creation beside the card? It is a kleenex holder! Very cute! She also included a whole swack of Barbie stamped images, but my girls saw them and well...they were all colored before I could get a pic of them. ;0)

This next one is a beautiful creation done by the wonderful Corie. Love the color combo on this crisscross card. Thanks again, Corie!

And finally... lookie what I recieved this week from the amazing miss DottieK?? I could not believe my eyes! Not only did I recieve an original DottieK creations ;0) but she included this whole stack of stamped images!! Thank you again, Dottie. You are the best! :0)

I would definitely say I was spoiled! Thanks again ladies! :0)

{ It's not a Christmas card??!! }

Nope. I had a couple Bday cards that needed to be done for Christmas. This one is for my SIL...pretty sure she does not look at my blog...if she does...well...Happy belated Bday Natalie!!

I just love this sketch from SCS. I will definitely be using this sketch again...although I did move the bottom panel. I love this new SU set. This one is a new Level 3 set in the upcoming 2008 catalogue. I also used an old technique that I love...Dazzling Diamonds. And added more bling and sparkle. Trust me when I say this one is very sparklin'!!

I also wanted to share a few more RAK's that I have received. This first one is from my friend Catherine. I saw this stamp set on her blog one day and HAD to know where she got it. I am a HUGH Tazo Chai lover, so duh!! Well a few weeks ago she sent me an email saying that her LSS had this set again and she picked one up for me...Merry Christmas. And I so love the card too. I saw this one on her blog and thought it was so cute!! Thanks again, Catherine! and hope your little one is doing better!!!

This next one is from one of my fellow Cal-Gals...Shannon. This is a card that Shannon made at our last gathering and I loved it. Trust me it is even more amazing in person! Thanks, Shannon!

And finally this last one is from my friend, Robyn. I think, this maybe one of the first cards that she has actually given me...that she has made. And she will probably freak once she finds out I put her card up here, but...too bad!! It is awesome!! Thanks, Robyn. :0)

Well...that's it for now. This will most likely be my last post until late next week. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a fun and safe New Years. :0)
