{ Life is short... }

...celebrate moments! What a perfect sentiment to start off a New Year.

Okay...I am just lovin' this new Hedgie stamp I got from my Mom for Christmas! Is he not the cutest? And of course this Fairiest of them All
DP is so awesome too...oh and check out those new pearls! Can you tell I am having fun with all my new toys? ;0)

I hope those of you that received new toys for Christmas are getting the chance to enjoy them!

Thanks for stoppin' by...

I almost forgot...the inspiration for this card came from Julee's great Mojo Monday Sketch #2.

{ Life is too short... }

And so are the days! I can not believe it has been almost a week since I posted. Again...sorry. I am thinking this is gonna be the norm. Just seems like there is no time for stamping, or when there is...I am just too tired and not feeling creative...at all!! And we aren't as busy as some families, but busier than what is normal for us. And just lots of stresses right now. Or shall I say...I am stressing about lots of things. Not that they are stress, just that I am a little worry wort. ;0)
Anyway here is another creation from last week. This one was for a sketch challenge, but for the life of me I can not remember which one. I looked through my usual sketches, but can't find it. If anyone knows what this one was from, please let me know!

For this one, I used a colored image...from my stash. It came out alright. Nothing spectaular, but a nice card just the same. :0)

Hope you all have a great weekend. And thanks for stoppin by.

{ Man...I need some drugs! }

I have no idea what I have done, but man I am in pain!
My neck/upperback/shoulders/upper arms are killing me. I had a hard time sleeping last night. Think I will get hubby to bring me home some Robaxicet tonight if it is still like this later this afternoon. The girls have a play date today, so my plan is to just sit in the backyard and watch them most of the day. Okay...that's my whining for the day. ;0)

Here is a card I made last week using some awesome Plumeria paper I picked up at the Scrapbook Pantry here in Calgary. The paper is downstairs and I can't remember the name of it...Nancy, can you help me out? I just love this paper though! I did a faux Mother of Pearl finish...without the added color ink... on the main card layer to match the pearl in the DP. I really am quite happy with this one.

Hope you all have a fabulous June 1st!!

{ Hula Girls and Challenge card }

Okay, for those of us that a buried in snow and wind...close your eyes and image you are on the beach in Hawaii...check out these hula girls!!

Couldn't resist...the girls were playing dress up yesterday after we got back from getting hair cuts. They were performing for me, so I HAD to shoot a few pics. :0)
On another note...I stamped lastnight! And did a challenge too! Here is my entry into Ila's Highhopes blog candy. I think I like it. This is so out of my element. I don't usually use more than one kind of DP together. I see so many wonderful creations out there, but when I try...well to me it just looks messy and icky. I was lucky enough to have this great DP that I had bought off of Nancy awhile back. Enough babble...what do you think?

I love these stampsets from TAC. The butterfly is from the new mini and the sentiment is on the last page of the catty. I almost missed it and so glad that I ordered it. There are some great sentiments in the set. The inside of the card says...'to forget about your dreams'. As you can see I also too a stab at Beate's Thumping technique from a few weeks ago. I LOVE this technique. It is so pretty!!

Well, I am off to do some laundry. My darling daughter decided to dump 1/2 a bottle of cough sirup all over mommy lastnight! Yuck! Should have done the laundry lastnight...not too sure if it will come out of everything now...oh well.

Have a great Sunday!
