{ Last Day of School...Woohoo!! }

It is an exciting day today at our house...the last day of school. No more getting up early, no more set schedules for awhile. Love it! The kids...and us too...have already been getting into that mode for the past few days. It has been hard to get the kids to go to bed at their regular time. It was a bit of a struggle getting them out of bed yesterday. The were up talking the night before and would NOT go to sleep. Oh well. Tonight they get to sleep together and stay up as long as they want chatting. ;0)

I have been busy the past few days trying to get teachers gifts done. Of course, I left them all to the last minute! I really need to work on that and get more organized.

So here was the first one. I saw this template on Allison's blog a few weeks ago during her box/bag challenge. I like it, but it is pretty big and I ran out of time to get more cards done to fit into it. It is really meant for 12 cards and I only had 6 in it...oh well. I hope her teacher likes it. I decided to try some monogram cards for something different. It's okay. I am not a fan of monogram cards myself, so this is probably why I am not lovin' this one all that much.

I just realized the other day that I did not have a challenge in the month of June! I know that everyone will be busy during the summer, so I think I might only do one during the summer and then get back at it on a regular basis again in September. So be on the lookout next week for my Summer challenge. Have a great day and thanks for droppin' by. :0)

{ Done...next...}

This was one lazy weekend! I pretty much spent the whole weekend reading
'New Moon'. I finished it yesterday. So before I go to the dentist today, I will be buying 'Eclipse'. I was worried that the second book would not be as good as the first one? No way! So good!! I can't wait to start on the next one. Then I will have to wait until August for the next one. :0( Oh well, I can read all 3 like a million more times before then. ;0)

Just thought I would share the other project I did with my ladies on Friday.

I just love these Tiny Treat Baskets. They are just too cute and quick to make.
Well, I am off to dentist again today...wish me luck. I am not looking forward to it and have been feeling quite sick since yesterday afternoon...so it should be a fun day...hopefully I don't get sick on the dentist!!

{ Bad Mommy! }

That is me. Lastnight was my monthly stamp class for a group of my family and friends. I was letting one of the ladies in the front door...Elizabeth(my youngest) was behind me trying on her new roller skates. I went to close the door and could not figure out why the door was not closing...kept trying. Then looked down to see my daughters thumb in the door!! Talk about feeling bad. We had some blood, lots of swelling and a very purple thumb. And LOTS of crying. I tell ya that was the worst feeling in the world...probably worse for her though! She is better today. Still a bit purple and warm to touch, but better.

Thought I would share the projects we did lastnight. And one I can even enter into Allisons weekly challenge this week too!

This first one is using the Bouncing Brayer technique. This was my first time using this technique and I must say I quite like it! I think I might have to get me a few more spectrum pads now! This is very simple but it is the technique that shines on this one! Hope this one is okay, Allison!

We also did a Crisscross card. I ran out of River Rock CS so had to come up with two designs. And here they are...

I really do love these crisscross cards. A great use for your double sided DP's!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I will be back soon...Riley's are in the house!! I have a couple of creations to share...but you are gonna have to wait. ;0)

{ More treats from the CalGals }

I was out stampin' with the Calgals(Allison, Shannon and Nancy) on Friday. We all traded off stamps once again. I was lucky enough to get some new Hanna's off of Shannon and here she is!!

Don't ya just love her? I was not too sure I would like the short hair on her, but it was pretty fun. Now, my only problem is who do I give this card to? I think it will have to be hubby's Vday card. I don't think I could give this to a girlfriend...since I put XOXOXO inside!! ;0)

Stay tuned...I also stamped off some Fluffles from Shannon and some Pink Cat Studio off of Allison. I made 3 cards lastnight and I am actually quite happy with all of them. Thanks again ladies for bringin' your stamps!

Have a great Monday all! :0)

{ Great mail day! }

Yes, I am still alive! We just can not win in this house lately. My DD is doing better with the ear infection...or so it seems. But she awoke at 3 AM this morning with a tummy ache...came into our bed at 4 AM...then proceeded to vomit on mommy and all over our bed at 5AM. So she stayed home today...again...and proceeded to vomit every 2 hours until noon. So far this afternoon she has been okay, but she has only had water, a popsicle and a few saltine crackers...cross your fingers!!

But it was a very good mail day for me on Friday. I received a huge box of TAC stamps from my freind Kim...can not wait to play. Received my FREE SU set that was a gift to all demos from Shelli...I even gave myself a blister from mounting all those stamps!! I also recieved my 'Pay it Forward' win from Kathy. Check this out!!

Thank you again, Kathy!!

I also thought I would share another Presentabella card I made. My DD was invited to yet another bday party, so mommy had to create! ;0)

I am starting to panic a bit...regarding my Christmas cards. I am still only about 12 into about 50 or so that I need to make!! And I have not started any Christmas shopping yet. I really need to have some healthy kids in this house!! Everyone...please send me some healthy vibes ;0)

{ New Bella in Da House!! }

My friend Nancy was able to have her sister pick up some Bellas last week. So I was able to get Snowbunnybella and Presentabella. Here is my first creation with Presentabella...

This is a fun one to color! I did this one for a friend of my DD. Hope she liked it! I will be back with some Snowbunnybellas...I colored about 12-14 of them at work this week!!

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for their well wishes for my DD. She is still suffering with the ear infection. She has had bleeding all weekend. We were told that if it continues for more than 2 days to get her checked out again. So we will see how she is after school...we maybe heading to the clinic again tonight. :0( I am really hoping that the meds kick in soon! I just wish we could get back to a healthy household around here. My little one is still sick with a cold and now I have it too! We were so much more healthy before the girls started school!! grrrrrr ;0)
