{ October Happiness Giveaway Challenge }

Today is the day. Today is my bday, but more importantly I am going to announce this months Challenge! Since it is my bday month I have decided to make this challenge all about me!! Yup, that's right.

Your challenge is to create something with some of my favorite themes:

*Disney
*Hawaii

It can be anything...get creative. With Disney, it could just be a Disney quote with Disney colors...cause I know not everyone has Disney stamps. ;0)

And as for the winner? I will be collecting all of my favorite things over the next month and adding it to the pot! So far I have a box of brand new Prisma pencils and also plan on adding some glitter pens, glue pens, bling, stamps, stamped images of my favs and lots of other yummy stuffs. I might even take pics this time too! ;0) Trust me you will want this box of yummy stuffs!!

You have until 9:00pm MST October 31st(Halloween) to get your entry(only one entry per theme) in. You can leave me a comment with a link to your entry or you can email me with your entry.

{ Happy 6th Bday Em! }

Today is my DD 6th bday! Of course I am a bad Mommy and waited until today...while she is at school...to make her a bday card!! She loves my Bella's, so I think she will like it. :0) Oh and also this was this weeks Mojo Monday Challenge.

This pic was only taken at Thanksgiving, but she already looks so much older...could be she had all her hair cut off this past week too!! :0)

{ Bella Bday Invites }

Today has been a good day creatively. I have been working on some design items and it has really helped to get the creative juices flowing after not stamping in a week. Just can't share them with you yet ;0)

But here is the bday invites that I made for my oldest, who is turning 6 this week. We are having a PJ party...kind of a 'faux sleepover'. We are doing all the sleepover stuff, just not actually sleeping over. Pizza, painting fingernails, doing some crafts and a movie and popcorn to end the evening. Should be fun! So of course I thought Jammybella would be perfect for the invites!! And Em's favorite color is Purple. These were done as a postcard with all the party details printed on the back.

{ Boy have I missed you all!! }

I can not believe that it has been almost a week since my last post. What a week! There are a lot of different colds and flus going around right now and I had a good one! But I am on the mend now...just a nasty cough that wakes me up at night now! But I will live ;0)

Just a quick post for today...the girls have no school today so we are off shopping for bday party stuff, snowsuits(cause we had a good little blast of snow this week!) and odds and ends.

Here is a card I made a few weeks ago using one of my BRAK images I received. I love this little guy. Sorry for the blurry pic. I even used my new liquid pearls around the scalloped chipboard flower.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!! We have a Halloween Family Movie Night tomorrow and then the girls are off to a Halloween Party on Sunday. Lots of fun! :0)

{ Still here...}

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have not slipped off the the face of the earth...although I would like to! My hubby decided to share his cold/flu with me and I have been laid up since Saturday. Everyday I keep thinking that I should be better today...nope not yet. Hope to be back to creating soon. It is gonna take me a week to catch up on all my blogs...man I better get better soon!! :0)

{ My little blue book }

Was looking for something new to share with you and realized that I actually don't have much left...gotta get busy stampin'!!

I do have this little book that I made a while back that I forgot to share with you. This was a little blog candy win for Julie and decided to finally do something with it. It is a little address book for RAK's. Whenever I feel the urge to send a RAK I just look into my little book and pick out a name. But I am finding that it is getting so full already that I may need to find myself a bigger book. The holes are so small on this one that it maybe hard to add more pages. Anyone have any ideas? My SU 1/4" punch is a little too big. I will have to play and see if I can find something...I like the smallness of this one.

Has everyone else been crazy busy? And I can not honestly tell you why? I have not even had time to do much in the way of stamping this past week. :0( But I must get busy! I have bday invitations to make for my oldest daughter this week, Allisons challenge and my Christmas Tag swaps done for CST(Canadian Stamp Talk - Canadian only Yahoo Group)!! And of course next week is my monthly stamp class...which I need to do up my samples for too!! Just not enough hours in the day!


Thought I would share this card I made a few weeks back. I used one of the images I received in one of my BRAK's. You know, I saw this set in the TAC catty and thought...cute, but I would never use it. Umm...yah! Now that I have colored her? I am thinkin' I might have to get this set. She is just too cute!

{ Wholy RAK's Batman!! }

I am so sorry for not being around much lately. With my bday last week and Thanksgiving...well just life in general really!

Anyway, wanted to catch up with all the beautiful RAK's I have received over this past week. Wow! Check these out!

This first one I recieved from my friend Kim. Thank you so much. And love this set...which I don't already have! As you can see I already riped the package open before I got the chance to take a pic ;0)

This next RAK is from Miss Dottie. I am sooooo lovin' this BRAK she sent me! Is this not a great lookin' Disney card or what?! And look at all the goodies she sent too! The other card was a thank you for some Bella images I had sent her. I think I might be casing this card! Thanks again Dottie! And I really think Dottie *needs* to start her own blog!! ;0)

This next one was a SCS BRAK from fancy_stich. I can not find fancy_stich in the gallery on SCS and she did not put a return address on the envelope. { Belated...Happy Thanksgiving! }

What a weekend! Where did it go? Just a quick belated Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians out there.

Got spoiled for my bday! ;0) Hubby had a theme for my bday this year...electric fleece blanket, slippers, last case of Starbucks Tazo Chai from Costco, and Season 1 Heroes DVD!! What could be better!?!?

Spent all weekend workn' but did get to spend some time with my family on Saturday and the inlaws yesterday. Hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving!

So I ran down and did my version of my own challenge! This card is made with some 12 X 12 Eeyore paper I picked up. I just cut out the image and sentiment and viola!!

Yes...I think I am in love! I was playing again with the High Hopes images that I stamped off of Allison. I really need to place an order...and soon!! And I really need to get a head start on my Christmas cards. I think this makes about 6 or 7 so far. Only...too many to go!!
