{ How cool is this? }

I am so excited to show this to you! Remember how I had mention a new toy I just received? Well the new toy was a Bind-it-all. It has been sitting on my table for over a week now...just sitting...and staring at me. I have been very nervous to try it...why...not really sure...just feeling a bit inadequate. But I was given some inspiration by Cindy's little project here. So I sat down and made myself a Stamp Wish Book. Okay...it's not perfect by any means...but it's all mine and my very first Bind-it-all project. So I am sure I will get the hang of it. I used chipboard coasters for the front and back cover and just computer paper for the inside sheets. I punch out some SU tabs and added a bunch of my fav stamp companies. I have a few extra sheets in there in case some new companies come out of the woodwork. ;0) So what do ya think? Sorry about the pic...my camera is acting up and I had just shoot before the camera conked out again.

Off to bed now...have a great rest of the week!

Have a great night all!

{ Gotta Love...}

... new music finds! I was blurfin' this morning and came across some new music via Maria's blog. Maria has introduced me to some great music since I started visiting her blog. So while I was at Utube checkin these out...I found Tyrone Wells! I found his myspace site. I am in the process of downloading his new album right now. Check it out...you might like it too! Thanks Maria for some great music to start my week! :0)

Okay, I will even share a new creation with you too. I manage to do some new creations lastnight and it was a good night. I am feeling my mojo coming back...was feeling a bit out of sorts lately. Just need to create more, I think! But here is an old one for you. This was a bday card for a friends 7yr old earlier this month. This was an image that I recieved from Miss Dottie awhile back and the sketch...I believe was a MojoMonday sketch from when I was away...catching up on my sketch challenges, even though I am late. Nothing exciting, but it turned out cute enough.
Have a great Monday all!

{ Proud Mommy Moment }

This week my girls have been in swimming lessons. My oldest is...well...she is a big chicken when it comes to almost everything. She just lacks confidence in most things...it's something we struggle with a lot with her. Anyway... during swimming lessons she has always struggled to put her face in the water and most recently letting go of the edge of the pool...despite the fact that she can touch the bottom of the pool. ;0) Well all week in lessons this has continued and the teacher was always having to hold her as she did her front and back floats and glides. Each day she has been practicing on her own at the side...trying to let go...for a second at a time. ;0) And then on Thursday the teacher put flippers on all the kids. She started trying on her own...which was exciting. Then at the end of the class he had them all swim the entire length of the pool! I thought...this should be interesting. Well guess what? She did it! The entire length of the pool she was swimming with the other kids. The teacher was actually helping some of the other kids with their technique and was no where near her. She was right in the middle of the pack...SWIMMING!!! Let's just say I was very close to tears. So with that in mind, I decided that she needed a card...and I had a challenge to complete too. ;0)

I am not 100% happy with this card. There are a few little issues with it, but she liked it.
I just noticed that the ribbon was crooked for the pic...oh well.
This one was for
Jen's LCAWC #1. This one was a sketch done by Maria. The card turned out okay, but I just am not thrilled with all the white...kinda sticks out too much. What do you think?
I was cleaning up my stamp room lastnight...god knows it needs it!! But, man do I have a lot of scraps! I need to find me a good sketch for using up scraps of DP. Anyone have a good one??
Have a great weekend all! :0)

{ Where oh where is Tracy?? }

I am still here...honest. Just been busy. We got back from Camping on Wednesday and have not really been home much since then! I don't really have anything new to share, but thought I would share a couple of pics from our first camping trip with ya...
This first one is of me with my girls. This was a log along the river we found. The campground is located next to the Kananaski River...great for relaxin' and throwing rocks. We even saw a Coyote on the opposite side from us one day.

This next one is of Mt Kidd. Not a bad thing to wake up to each morning, huh??

This last one is of Wedge Pond. It is just down the road from Mt Kidd. There is a 2km trail that circles the pond. Nice and quiet. There were even some brave...or crazy...kids that were swimming that day. The water was freezing!!
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer thus far. I hope to be back soon with a new creation. I just got a new toy this week...something I had ordered awhile back...so no, I have not broken my promise about not spending any money on crafting stuff until the fall!!

{ MIA...again }

It has been a whole week since my last post...think this might be the norm for the summer folks...hope you understand. :0)

The first camping trip was great and now we are heading out again tomorrow for #2. This one will be taking us to
Gull Lake. We always have fun there...as long as the weather holds out. As this one is located right smack dab in the middle of our own 'tornado alley' here in Alberta. When the weather turns nasty...well it can get pretty nasty. So cross your fingers we have lots of sun and warm weather so we can enjoy the lake. :0)

Just thought I would share a card that I made for my FIL for his bday back in June. I love these Riley images. This one I stamped off of
Shannon during one of our Calgal gatherings. I was hoping to get some of the new Riley's, but have decided to not purchase any stamping supplies or stamps until the Fall. Let me tell you it is gonna be tough, but at the same time...well I am broke so not much of a choice! ;0)

Hope you all have a great week and I will be back at the end of next week!

{ Surprise! Another 12 X 12! }

I apologize for being so long between posts lately. I guess summer will be a bit of a challenge when it comes to blogging and creating. But I will try my best...bare with me. ;0)
But I do have another scrapbook layout to share!! Woohoo for me! And...I even like...okay...I actually love this one...but it could be because of the subject. Eeyore happens to be my favorite Disney character. So when the girls were getting their picture taken...well Mommy had to get in there too. And Eeyore even gave me a kiss too!!

I also have some RAKs to share with you too. I received this great Thank you RAK from Charlene. I had made and sent her a baby afghan for her new baby...who should be making an appearance soon! This was the thank you she sent. I can not wait to color these new images and I love the paper. I have actually used one of them with one of the next images...you will have to wait for that though! ;0) Thanks again Charlene!

Charlene and I also did an image swap recently and these were the image she sent...with some added High Hopes stamps!! I was so shocked when I opened the envelope and saw these cute stamps included! It is hard to see from the photo, but there is a cute little Scottie dog and an alligator image. Thank you once again Charlene. Charlene has also tagged me... I have not forgotten Charlene...I just have a hard time trying to think of something about myself. I promise that I will do it...just not right away. ;0)

Just wanted to let everyone know that you will not be hearing from me until next week as we are taking off on our first camping trip of the year. We are headed off to Mt Kidd for 3 nights and 4 days of mountain fun. See you all next week!
