Have you seen this blog yet? I am loving these sketches. Of course I am never gonna actually get one posted in time...but I will still play along. This was my take on CFC1. I gave this card to my niece for her 5th bday. I had fun with it.
Well hope everyone is doing well. I have not had much time if any for crafting lately, but I may try and get down to my stamp room tonight...I have a sympathy card that I need to get done up and those are never a fun thing. But I also have a few RAKs I would like to send out too...so those are always fun!
Thanks for stoppin' by and still hangin' in with me.

Good title eh? Well, here it is. My sample...for my own challenge...and a little late.
At our last Calgals night...Merlie and Nancy gave us a quick little lesson on Spirelli. It was soooooooo easy. I expected it to be so difficult and time consuming. Not! I am sort of happy with the way these turned out. The only thing that I am not fond of is the gold threat I used. I am not a gold lover. I find it very cheap and sometimes tacky. Next time I will use another color.
Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with this month!

Quick post tonight...just thought I would share my card for Allison's Calgal challenge this month. Allison supplied us with a stamp that we all had to use to make a card. Well...talk about a challenge! Actually it was not that bad...I am just not use to using a collage type stamp. I am happy with it though.
I am off this weekend...so I promise to get my samples posted for the Christmas Card Challenge. I am almost done...just have to put them all together...be back soon...

I know...real original post title. Thought I should post something since it has been a week! Here is the card I made for my Mom's bday in August. This is a Recessed Window Card. I quite like this one. But this is one of those cards that you probably would not want to mail...very thick and wouldn't want it to get damaged. Try one out...they are really a fun card to make.
Lastnight was our Calgal night. Allison had a good challenge for us! I will post my completed card next time...

and then it is back to the couch for me. Yes, that's right. I whole week back to school and I am already sick! Not funny...not funny at all!! Oh well...so far it has just stayed in my sinuses and head...as long as it does not go into my chest...cross your fingers for me.
Anyway...thought I would share one quick creation with you all, since it has been a while...
This was a card that I gave to Shannon when all of us Calgals had a little baby shower for her and Miss Hailey. I knew that Shannon had done Hailey's room with a bunch of Pooh images. I thought I would make this card with an image that I thought might not be as well used. I was happy with the way it turned out. Must get using my cricut more often. And must get busy makin' some scrapbook pages. Still only have the few that I have shown you of our Disney trip last year...many, many more to go!! One day...when I'm old and grey...which sadly, is not that far off!!! ;0)

Thanks to everyone that played along this month again in the Christmas Card Challenge. I know it is not easy to make Christmas cards in the middle of summer, but we did it and we are gonna be so much happier when we are not all rushing to get those cards done before Christmas. Check out all these beauties...
Thanks again ladies...and our random winner this month is...
Karen be sure to send me off an email with your mailing addy and I will get some little goodies off to you in the mail.
Everyone be on the lookout on the 15th for our next challenge!
I will try and post a new creation in the next few days...if I find some time!! This year has brought some changes into our household. Our girls school is starting 1hr earlier this year, so we are up at 6:00am...girls are on the bus at 7:15...I am at work at 8:00 off at 2:00 home at 2:20(if there are no errands to run)...girls are home by 3:00pm. It is really nice having the girls home earlier this year, but there is no alone time for me! Blah Blah Blah...I know! ;0)
