{ TCC #6 }

**NOTE: This post will remain sticky until June 30. Please scroll down for new posts**

Okay so it's that time again...already! I was thinking of canceling this month, but then decided not to. With everything that has been going on in our house hold over the past few weeks...well, once again I have no sample and to be honest it might not be until the end of the month. But here we go with the challenge...

This month's Christmas Card Challenge will be...

* you must complete 5 cards
* All cards must use the same main image but can be different in color and layout
* you must use some type of different fold...meaning you have to do something other than a normal 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 or square card. You can check out Splitcoast for some great ideas. I myself am thinking of trying out the Tri Shutter Card.

All entries must be received by 11:59pm MST June 30th. You must leave a comment with a link to your cards or email me a photo of your entries. And once again I will draw a random winner from all entries to receive a small RAK from me.

Good luck and have fun!

{ Woohoo!!! Camping here I come!! }

Just wanted to do a quick post before we head out for the first camping trip of the season! I am just a little excited...can you tell? We are heading off to Mt Kidd for a few nights...so I thought I would leave you with a new creation. I actually got the camera working long enough to take a few pictures...but now it has conked out again! Ugh! Hopefully when we get back I can get it figured out. Just means no pics for this trip. :0( Oh well...how many pics of Mt Kidd can one really have, right?

Here is my Calgal creation from last week. It was Merlie's turn to choose a sketch challenge for us. The image that I used was quite big so I ended up making mine a big larger. I like it, but I think maybe the proportions are a little off...I don't know.

Well...hope you all have a good week. I will post something when I get back...maybe Thursday as I am working ALL day on Wednesday and might not have the time.
Thanks for stoppin' by...

{ Woohoo }

I got the camera to work!! So I was able to take more pics...and I stamped!! Double Woohoo!! So here is a quickie post before I head off to bed...this was a card that had been sitting in my stamp room and was in the finished pile, but never really felt it was finished. So I added a few more things to it tonight and here it is...

I love this Ian stamp. Luckily for me, even though I don't personally own it...I know someone who does that I can snag images off of!! Thanks, Dianne. :0)
Only 2 more days of school for the kids, then we are off on our first camping trip of the season...I am getting very excited!!
Thanks for stoppin' by...see ya soon...

{ Not much bloggin' }

Sorry folks...not much blogging lately and I am afraid there won't be much in the near future either. It will be spotty over the summer. I am having some camera issues right now and not sure that I will get them fixed any time soon, so that means not much for bloggin' I am afraid. So I will leave ya with this one for now and can't promise anything as far as new creations getting posted for a bit...

This was an image that I stamped off of the lovely miss Merlie during one of our Calgal nights. I made this card for a bday party one of my girls went to this Spring...I think. ;0)
Only 3 more days left of school for our girls and then SUMMER HOLIDAYS!!! Woohoo! We are off camping for 2 nights at Mt Kidd this week...looking forward to some hot tub time!
Have a great week everyone!

{ So Very Sleepy }

That is me today. Just thought I would pop in and do up a quick post. I am still around, but unfortunately not much creating going on around here. The past week has been...well...it has just been. As some of you know, my MIL has been going through Chemo for Breast Cancer. She finished up her last treatment 3 weeks ago, but has taken a turn for the worse. She has been in the hospital since Monday...for a number of reasons. Not only worrying about her but also my FIL. He is at the hospital from morning till night and it is definitely taking a toll on him. Plus both my girls have been sick this week too. So just a lousy week overall. We will all get through it though...just have to stay positive...as much as possible.

On one positive note...the kids only have 10 more school days left for this year! Woohoo! I am definitely looking forward to the summer. And we have actually had a few days of nice weather here...finally!!

I will leave you with an old creation that I believe I have not shared yet...if I have? Just pretend you haven't seen it yet, kay?

This one is using a High Hopes image that I received as a RAK from Charlene and some older SU DP and of course colored in with my Copics. I don't think my Copics remember who I am...it's been over a month since I even picked one up! Soon...very soon.

Thanks for stoppin by...

{ Has anyone seen Spring? Anyone? }

This is getting, just plain freakin' ridiculous!!! The past 3 or 4 days have been a mix of snow, rain and bloody cold weather!! This is June!! You know...sun...warmth...sun...warmth...remember that? Not...everyone run for your lives and cover those flowers before they all die!!! We took the kids to Calaway park for my hubby's work annual Family Picnic. It was freazing!! Some people were wearing their winter coats, gloves, hats...now that is just wrong! But it was still a good day. Our oldest went on the 'Big' RollerCoaster for the very first time and LOVED it! She went on twice and has now decided that she only wants to do the 'adult' rides from now on. ;0)

I am slowly healing from my surgery. I must admit though...this one was much tougher than I was expecting, but I am getting there. I took off my steri-strips yesterday and was quite surprised at the size of some of my incisions! 2 are about 1/4" and 2 are 1"+. I guess that would explain why those two were so much more ouchie than the other two! I am heading back to work tomorrow though. So life is starting to get back to normal.

I have not managed to make it down to my stamproom yet, but I am planning on doing that today. This week I found a couple of 'new to me' sites. The first I found through Christine. I am sure EVERYONE else on the planet knows this one, but it was new to me... PC Crafters. I must admit that many of the images are not my cup of tea, but there are MANY more that are. I love that many images can be printed off in black and white and colored as a Digi image. But I also like that some are not...makes for a quick image. You will be seeing some PC Crafter images soon! ;0)

Another great site I found was Whimsie Doodles. There are only a handful of digi images up right now, but can't wait for more to come. I am a HUGH turtle lover, so I am so in love with these cute images. You can download a free image, so that is what I will be playing with today. I will definitely be going back for the others...very soon!

I will leave you with an old creation I did a few months ago. This was a card I made for my Nephews Bday. He's not a skater, but it was the only 'boyish' image that I had on hand. ;0) I was quite happy with the way this one turned out. Simple yet still a happy creation.

Okay...the winner of a little somethin' from me?
