{ Love ya, Honey }

8 years ago today I was on a beach in Maui(Makena Cove) gettin' married to my best friend. Happy Anniversary Honey! And even though we have only been married for 8 years, we have actually been together for almost 19 years! Yup...livin' in sin for 11 years before we finally got hitched. And I was 4 month preggers at the time too!! But that's a whole other story. ;0)

And here is hubby's Anniversary card...which took me forever, since my youngest decided to make cards for EVERYONE at the same time. She got 4 cards done in the time it took me to make this one!! Gotta love her. ;0) I actually used my Cricut to cut out the Aloha sentiment! My first one! The white cs is a little too white, but oh well.

{ Spring? Really? }

Well, I certainly hope so. Let us all cross our fingers that it is actually here!! It has been nice and sunny for the past few days now. Although, the temperature is still not where I would like it...but I think I need to move far, far away before that would ever truly happen! ;0)

A quick post for ya...off to take my oldest to a bowlin' bday party today.























Here is card #2 in my series of Wild Thing cards I made last week. I love this little monkey...too cute. The DP was a little giftie from my friend Dianne. I like this card...not too sure I love the way I dirtied up the strip of Really Rust on the bottom and that bow? How pathetic is that? Oh well. Over all? Not too bad.

Tomorrow is hubby and my 8th wedding anniversary. 8 years ago today we were in beautiful Maui! Oh to be there right now!!

Is it really that time again already?! Where has the first half of the month gone? Okay, once again...I do not have a sample ready. I promise to have it posted by the end of the weekend though!

This months challenge should be an easy one for most of us.

Sorry for being MIA for so long. I have just been feeling no Mojo and no desire to post lately. Almost feeling like taking a break from bloggin' for awhile, but I think I will hold out until summer and then maybe take a break for the summer. No worries...I just might not post on a regular basis...not like I am right now anyway...ha! I have also, been busy reading lately too. I just finished rereading the Twilight Series for the 3 or 4th time in the past 8 months...it has me in the mood for more reading. And what perfect timing! Maria has started up a Book Club online... The Cafe Corner Book Club Come check out the blog and if you are up for it why not join us? Our first book is... The Host!


Did you notice that I finally posted my own Challenge cards on the post at the top? I finished them last weekend, just had not gotten around to actually taking photos and downloading them! I am actually happy with them. They did not turn out like I had envisioned this challenge to be, but I am very happy with the result. As you can see I used my Cricut again. :0)



Well, it is snowing yet again!!! When is spring ever going to arrive?! I am so sick of this weather. Oh well, what can we do...aside from complain!

This is the first card of 5 that I did all using the same sketch. I decided that since I had all 5 of these Wild Things images colored, I would use the same sketch on all of them. I can't remember the sketch exactly, but I believe this one was inspired by a SCS sketch. I was quite happy with the way this one turned out!

On a side note...we took our girls to go and see the Hannah Montana movie yesterday. Both hubby and I REALLY enjoyed it! I was actually shocked at how much I liked it. Yes, there were a few stupid...only kids would love it...scenes, but only a couple. And of course we had to download the soundtrack when we got home. I must admit the 'Hannah Montana' music is okay, but I really do enjoy the 'Miley Cyrus' stuff. Especially the song 'The Climb'. She sang it last week on Idol. I was not thrilled with her live performance, but hearing the song in the movie? Well, it is actually a very beautiful song. Check it out!
