Did you see what our temp is right now? Did ya? It is suppose to dip down to -1 tonight!! This is getting pathetic!

Okay...enough of that...

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. I did...once I got home from work! ;0) We all went to the Zoo once I got home. We received a notice in the mail that we could renew our passes at half price, so we took them up on it. We let our pass go last year, but at half price we thought...why not! It was actually a fun day...thought it might rain on us, but it held off. We got to see the new Koalas. They are just too cute! And we have some more Rays back. I could just sit and watch the Rays all day. They just look like they are flying. Now we just need some Sea Turtles and I would be very happy!

Speaking of Turtles...check out what I got for Mother's Day. I love Turtles! The only negative...it has no volume like the i-dog. Still cute though. :0)

Okay...onto a creation. Here are my Mother's Day cards I made for my Mom and Mother in-law.

This first one was my Mom's card. I so love this Happy Hopper image. Just too cute!

And here was my Mother In-laws card. I used Julee's MojoMonday #65 from last week. I was actually quite happy with the way this one turned out!

{ Nice RAK! }

Quick post, as my girls will be home from school soon!

This first RAK is my April OCS from Marisa. This is such a cool card. I forgot to ask her, but that embellishment on the front almost looks and feels like a stamp...very cool. Thanks again, Marisa. If you interested in joining the OCS be sure to check out Teri's blog for all the details!

Lastly, this was my April Aloha RAK that I received from Monique. Monique and I swapped some emails and she learned about my Disney love...as she does too...and sent me all these goodies. I absolutely love this card!! It is so simply yet is just perfect! I am gonna have to case this card...well the Mickey head anyway, cause I don't have this particular background stamp. I can not wait to dive into all these yummy Disney embellishments...oh and check out the awesome Disney album she made! Thanks again Moe!

{ I'll take thunder over snow anyday! }

And that's what we have today! It is currently raining and we are expected to get some thunder and lighting today as well. It is so much better than s***! Sorry...don't want to say the 's' word too much...Mother Nature might hear me. ;0)

Here is another card in my Wild Thing collection. Not too sure about this one. I tried to find some DP with grey in it to match my bunny. This was the only one I could find. I am not overly thrilled with the colorcombo on this one. It's okay.

Well, I am off to clean the house...real quick...do some laundry and then hopefully spend the day stampin'!! Since I have to work on Mother's Day...today is my Mother's Day. ;0)

8 years ago today I was on a beach in Maui(Makena Cove) gettin' married to my best friend. Happy Anniversary Honey! And even though we have only been married for 8 years, we have actually been together for almost 19 years! Yup...livin' in sin for 11 years before we finally got hitched. And I was 4 month preggers at the time too!! But that's a whole other story. ;0)

And here is hubby's Anniversary card...which took me forever, since my youngest decided to make cards for EVERYONE at the same time. She got 4 cards done in the time it took me to make this one!! Gotta love her. ;0) I actually used my Cricut to cut out the Aloha sentiment! My first one! The white cs is a little too white, but oh well.

{ Spring? Really? }

Well, I certainly hope so. Let us all cross our fingers that it is actually here!! It has been nice and sunny for the past few days now. Although, the temperature is still not where I would like it...but I think I need to move far, far away before that would ever truly happen! ;0)

A quick post for ya...off to take my oldest to a bowlin' bday party today.























Here is card #2 in my series of Wild Thing cards I made last week. I love this little monkey...too cute. The DP was a little giftie from my friend Dianne. I like this card...not too sure I love the way I dirtied up the strip of Really Rust on the bottom and that bow? How pathetic is that? Oh well. Over all? Not too bad.
