I decided to go ahead and try out both of Allison's challenges...last weeks and this weeks together. I had this brilliant idea in my head...or so I thought. But I am not so sure it worked out. Maybe, it's just that I am not use to using different patterns and textures together. What do you think? Is it as awful as I think it is?

I like this! I rarely use grey tones in my colors and maybe should. this is very pretty.
This looks great...so unique with the image and shades within the DP. Maybe if you felt like a change, you could work with a neutral as the base cardstock (like a linen or even blush blossom) to try a different tone...who knows though...I am certainly no authority!

I agree with what Nancy said it is outside your style. I always have problems going outside my cutesy style and find when I put on lots of layers in different styles that I don't pull it off. I think you did a good job. Way to go on expanding the horizons!
