{ With Sympathy }

I have decided to try and make up a few Sympathy cards. It is something that we never like to make, but when I need one...well I never have one and quite often have no idea what to make. So honestly, some never get made. Does anyone else have this problem? I always want to make one for that specific person, but I just never know what to say or what to make. So maybe this way, I will just grab one if there are a few to choose from. Here is my first one I made last week. Nothing special, but think it is nice. Is it maybe a bit too 'happy' though for a Sympathy card?

My youngest loves this card! She was ooohhhing and aaahhhing over it this morning...too cute.
Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. It is much warmer out today...although we are being lazy and probably won't get out to enjoy it!! Oh well ;0)

I think it looks good - I never have sympathy cards and always end up buying them. I was just looking at the TAC daisies I had stamped from you and thought I should do something with them!

What do you mean, nothing special, this card is a BEAUTY!! Great job with it Tracy!
It's warming here but not as much as in Calgary...think I'm just getting used to the cold...rofl!

This is a perfect sympathy card! The colours are very soft and soothing, and the flower is very peaceful. Great job! That's a good idea, making a few to have on-hand. I never have any, either, when I need them. I'll have to follow your lead! TFS.

your card says it all, through looks & a few words---just lovely.
I like them simple, but elegant & yours is that. Again, another wonderful creation, from YOU!!!

It's perfectly fine for a sympathy card. Flowers are classic. TFS.

Flowers are always acceptable and

Tracy, this is a great Sympathy card. From experience, when grieving, I was just so thankful for every and all cards that came in. Flowers are such a healing thing and are so appropriate for Sympathy cards.
Great idea to make up some ahead so you can send a card, rather than not doing so because you are wanting to make the "perfect" one....great going!

What do you mean "Is it a bit too happY for a sympathy card"? :) It's suppose to cheer the person up! I think it's fabulous. Those are very hard to make up when you need one. Great idea to make em up ahead of time. I need to do the same.

Hey Tracy,

I think this is just lovely. I love the colours and the daisy is beautiful. I think you did a great job! :)
It's a great idea to do up a few to have on hand, a lot of times when we need one of these cards, we're not in the mood to make them.
Have fun with the CalGals tonight! I'm heading to a SU party tonight... I'm looking forward to a girls night out, too! :)
Hope everyone is well in your house now. Have a great weekend! :)

Hugs,
Julie
