{ Man...I give up! }

Okay, so lastnight was our Calgal gathering. It took 5 of us 2 hrs to sort all those Dewdrops! It was...interesting. If you don't know already you can see all the details on Nancy's blog here.


I was not feeling very creative lastnight so I just colored and did not make a thing! But hoping to get some stamp time this weekend.


When I left Nancy's house lastnight at 12:20AM it was lightly snowing, but the roads were clear. Then this is what I awoke to at 7:30 this morning!!!

Someone just shoot me now!! Oh well...at least we got to make a snowman with it this morning.

{ Thinking of you }

Thought I would sneak in a quick post before I head off to work. The girls are both back at school today and both seem fine. Hubby tried to go to work today but only managed about an hr then headed off the the clinic. He is very dehyrated and they sent him off for some blood work. Hopefully he can get back to normal soon...this has been a long nasty one for him!

On another note...last week my hubbys uncle passed away. We were all suppose to travel to Edmonton on Friday for the funeral, but everyone was just not healthy enough to travel up there. So I thought I would send out a card to everyone letting them know that we were thinking of them and that we were sorry for not making it up there. Lastnight I managed some craft time to get another one finished. This one is the same layout I had used for one of my last cards...but I like it.

{ What a week!! }

Just wanted to let everyone know that yes...I am still alive! What a week! Well it took Em over 5 days to get better and then El got it on Tuesday...still not 100% and then about 1 hr later Daddy started!! He had it the worst I think. This was the sickest I have seen him in 18 years!! He weighed himself...he lost 15 pounds in the first 24 hrs!

Needless, to say...I have nothing new to show you. I am working on something though. So hopefully within the next few days I will have something new to show you.

I hope everyone else had a better Spring Break than we did!!

{ Happy Christmas? }

Well, you would think so looking at this!

Yesterday afternoon was +12C and there was absolutely no snow in my backyard. Then this is what I awoke to this morning!! Plus massive wind! Yuck.

So I guess this card I made is quite fitting...

Looks like the worst of Em's illness is over. Just trying to get her eating back up to where it should be. She is so thin to start with that it takes a lot out of her when she is sick like this. I keep pushing food on her...only because I can see every rib and vertibrae!! On another note...I think her sister must be going through a growth spurt. She has been eating non-stop since Friday!! I am not exagerating either!! She has to stop eventually...right???

Hope everyone is having a nice Easter weekend. It has not been great here. Em woke up at 5:00 am vomiting and then at 7:30 with diarrhea...needless to say the washer and dryer will be going most of the day! Oh well...hopefully just a 24hr thing.

{ Ahhhhh...Spring....}

It really feels like it here. The sun is shining brightly today and it is suppose to reach +14C here in Calgary on Sunday! We might have to have an egg hunt outside!! The girls are now on Spring Break, so we did our first family activity yesterday...took the girls to see Horton Hears a Who. It was cute, but went by really fast!

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter. I am hoping to do some stamping this weekend and hopefully finish Eclipse. I am taking my time with this one since I have to wait until August for Breaking Dawn to come out!!

Not sure if I will get back to post again before Sunday, but I will leave you with another card I made this week...

I love my new Papertrey stamps. This is my new Little Lady set that I finally ordered! I know, I am a little behind on this one. ;0) I love this set though. I can't wait to play with it more. I took my inspiration from a sketch that Jen did many moons ago on her blog. I decided that I need to start making some bday cards. Lately, I have been doing more 'thinking of you' and 'just wanted to say hi' type cards and never have a bday card when I need one. So at least now I have a few on hand. I am hoping to get a bunch of RAKS out this week...I have been so behind on that. So be on the lookout...you might be one of the lucky ones! ;0)

{ Gotta love it... }

... when you make something that you actually like! Lastnight I went down to my stamp room to play. I had started a card last week, but did not like how it was coming along so set it aside. So lastnight I decided to go another way with it. Well, I must say that I am quite happy with the way this one turned out!

I love this Ginger Blossom paper from SU! So pretty. I think I might have to get me some Groovy Guava paper now. ;0) I also got to play with my new Photo corner punch too! And it is hard to see in the pic but...Shannon...I even used the wheel that I bought off of you at the stamp sale!

Well it's the last day of school for my oldest today. Pizza Day...which means I am volunteering today. Then both girls have their 'Student lead conference'. Em's is a full hour from 5-6pm then El's is at 6:30-7:00pm. Not sure what we will do for 30-45mins in between...hopefully it's nice outside, maybe the girls will just play at the park.
