I am sick...again!

I must say since my oldest has started school, I just have not been able to stay healthy. I really need to get me some vitamins or something!!

Anyway, just thought I would share something that I did the other day for a monthly swap I am in.

The card base is Chocolate Chip, then a layer of Cool Caribbean which I put through my cuttlebug. I then used some Chocolate Chip pastels and brushed the top with a finger sponge. Used some of my new Costco ribbon and added a flower diecut from my cuttlebug with some dimensionals. The 'just because' is from the new 'Fancy Flexible Phrases' set. I used some of the Chocolate Chip pastels again on the edges of the flower diecut. This was a very quick and easy card. I actually started with the ribbon as my inspiration. I really need to start doing this more often. I don't know about everyone else, but I do a card and then have no ribbon to match it. And that is hard to believe with all the ribbon I have!!

I am now off to the couch...thanks for stoppin' by :0)

Beautiful card! I wonder if I should place a last minute emergency order for the fancy flexible phrases.

Love this card! I am one of the lucky recipients! I must go to Michaels now and buy that flower die cutter I've been dithering over for ages.
