My first time reading your blog and it is great!! My newest find is something I have been researching and contimplating for some time - I want to purchase either a cuttlebug or cricut machine - just haven't taken the plunge yet! I NEED ONE SOON!!!

Hello Tracy...nice giveaway...if it's not a problem, I have let people know about your contest via my blog. Hmm...great find? I guess some of the organizational items I have bought to get things off the floor and out of drawers and on to the wall (magnetized notice boards, magnetized spice holders (for brads, eyelets, etc.), hooks, etc.). This has been vital since my fourteen month old is an aspiring stamper even if all she does right now is chew the rubber off the blocks!

I am new to your blog and I'll certainly be coming back. Great blog. I guess I am like everyone else who is jumping on the buttlebug wagon. I so want to get some of those folders. I am thinking of going with the Big Shot too.

I just got one of those Cuttlebug embossing folders and will be trying it out with my rolling pin this week. Hope it really works!!!

For the photos, if you rename them with "SCN001_1" instead of just "SCN001"....it should allow people to click on it for a larger image.

I love my Cuttlebug!!! I just bought it, and had to wait to get some embossing folders, but since they arrived, I've been an embossing fool! LOL!

I was reading your blog yesterday. Love the Eyore card.

Nice blog candy. I think the one thing I would like would be a craft room but that isn't likely to happen so I would be happy with a 12x12 printer.

One thing that I recently purchased was a white Uni-globe pen. I love it. It was pricey but I figure for what I pay for white gel pens that don't work, it was well worth the money.

Erica said...

Love your blog, great eyore card, would love to know where you found that stamp. TFS

My favorite find at the moment are the bella stamps! I'm soooo addicted to them, I just can't seem to get enough. Great candy and great blog!

or me it is undressed chipboard. I know that it is by no means new and people have been using it for a long time but I have never used it. i just bought some the other day so I can play (if my baby ever goes to sleep). LOL!

Wow - this is so generous of you Tracy! Great blog candy! My newest favourite find would have to be the cuttlebug embossing folders (with the rolling pin). I was so sad that I couldn't afford the cuttlebug until I found out that you can use a rolling pin (see allthatscraps.com if you haven't seen it yet). My first folder just came in the mail TODAY so I'm off to try it!

(re: pics that pop up in blogger - when you upload the pic are you reducing the size first? If you upload at full size, it should be doing it automatically... sorry, that's all I can help you with!)

Thanks for the intro to your blog. I will be adding a link to my blog. My favorite new find is my cuttlebug. I see everyone is saying that but it is true. The first time I put a sheet through an A2 folder. I was shocked at how deep the embossing was and how easy it was to do.

Anonymous said...

My new favourite thing is Provo Craft's embossing folders. I use them with my Zip e Mate but I've been told they can be used with a rolling pin with good results.

Love your blog, Tracy, and the card you made for your 4-year-old is adorable so you are not a bad mommy!
My latest favourite find was a set of 81 gel pens, plain, sparkle, and metallic, in oodles of colours at Costco. They came in a great clear display case with a handle and were very reasonable (around $16.95) I believe. The best thing is that they actually write!!! LOL

My favorite thing right now is glitter-loose or stickles or in pens. Or on premade paper even. My daughter makes fun of me because I made over 50 cards last week and 90% of them had glitter. We went to the stamp store on Sunday and the proprietor had all sorts of glittery cards-so I am quite in fashion. I even bought another bottle.

Leah said...

Wow! What a lucky girl who wins your fun blog candy! :D My latest 'find' - I have been drooling over all the cuttlebug creations that I have seen! I can't wait til I can get one too (and the billions of toys that go with it) ;)

Nice giveaway...and great blog!

My latest "find" is some beautiful ribbon at Michael's that comes on cute little bobbins. FOund via another online friend Yvette!

TFS!

Hi Tracy,
I've enjoyed reading your blog. I actually learned something too. I am impressed with that punch. Can't even remember the proper name of it though. The crocodile one? I have a Silent Setter but this tool looks like it would be a lot easier to use. I think it will take closer investigation. The price sounds really good too. Another thing I saw, while surfing other people's blogs through your links, was a scalloped punch. I 'really' like that too. I'm going to see if I can find one in the stores in town.
I don't have anything new lately but I did buy some brass stencils recently and using my light table I've been enjoying the making of cards using these tools.I've bookmarked your blog so I can come back to it whenever I want.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Tracy,

I love to pop in and see what new ideas you have in Disneyland. :)

My new favourite thing isn't a stamping tool, but I use it for writing on the inside of the card and addressing the envelopes. I could never write in a straight line before and my Mum (the Queen scrapbooker) got me one of these cool writing tools from Creative Memories. It's called a 'Journaltopia Writing Guide.' It has a navy blue plastic base (like a ruler) and these funny little flexible wire loops along the base that you write on top of. Unlike using a ruler to keep your lines straight, with this tool, you don't need to go back and add all your bottoms for letters like 'y, g, j and p.' It works great to keep you're writing in a straight line. Who thinks these things up...is what I want to know! lol :)

Have a great day everyone!

Julie

My newest find is something that I invented/designed and will be available in about 5 weeks. It is a scoring tablet called "Scor-Pal". The scoring surface is 12"x12" with grooves at all the pertinant places for card making, grid cards, gate fold, accordian fold, box making and much, much more. You will be able to make multiple scores at diferent intervals without moving the card stock. It has a snap in feature to hold the scoring tool that comes with it.

Oh my I don't have any of those Michaels stamps - and that is saying something, as I have a lot now!!!! What gorgeous gorgeous blog candy.

Um now I have just found all my cuttlebug embossing folders, and in love with these I am, and I also am coveting all the gorgeous Michael's ribbons I keep seeing and wanting and can't have, hick, gulp (I will not cry) he he

Oh! My Gosh!!! What a beautiful set of Blog Candy!! Thank you. I know you have heard this, but I haven't been as tickled with anything as I am with my NEW Cuttlebug!!! When I showed it to my daughter, I jumped up and down. Did you ever see a 70 year woman jump up and down? I was surprised that I could jump!

So, my birthday is next week and my present came yesterday with what it was printed on the shipping box. Too bad for hubby...great for me. It was a cuttlebug and I am so excited!! I love the look the embossing folders give to everyone's cards and I can't wait to use mine. So, it is my favorite even though it is brand new.

Oh, and JoAnn's does free shipping on all their cuttlebug stuff so I already ordered some embossing folders.. Fun, Fun.

Forgot to put down my favorite new find! So I deleted that comment and I'm entering this one!

Anyway, my favorite new find is my Cuttlebug. I stick mostly with SU products since I'm a demo, but I couldn't resist this wonderful little toy (and the embossing folders, dies, and alphabets to go with it!). I also just recently started buying patterned paper - Basic Grey and Crate Paper are my favorites!
