Stampin' withdrawl!!

Yup...that's me. It has been 1 week since I did any stampin!! The accident that I had lastweek as left me with a bit of an injury, which has affected my stampin' :0(
Finally got into Physio today. Seems I have some injury/damage to the muscles and nerves of my upper back and neck. So he did some mild massage and heat today...just about killed me!! But I am hoping that with some work it will feel better soon.

But the stampin is a bit hard. I did mange a bit the other night. Hubby came home and asked if I was gonna go down to my stampin' room? Why? I ask ;0) Seems he needs an extra large card for a girl that just had a baby at work. But he needs it to be big enough for the whole store to sign!! I have never made a card that big before! What to do?? So I thought this is a perfect opportunity to test out my Cuttlebug Alphabet dies!! Here is what I came up with...

This picture is not the best, but you get the idea. Here I used a full sheet of Brocade Blue, with a layer of some paper from a Michaels pack. Then layered some Chocolate Chip and used the 'Weathered' Background in Chocolate Chip. The letters are then cut using the same Michaels paper using my Cuttlebug Olivia Alphabet Die. The centre layer is using one of my 'House Mouse' stamps. Love House Mouse!! And this little guy is perfect for a baby card...or at least I think so ;0) I used my Pastels to color the House Mouse stamp...just to give it a softer look. I used my Tag Punch to create a double sided tag for the center layer and then just used scissors to create the other layers. I think I am happy with this one.

Hoping to be able to play some with my new SAB stamps this week...stay tuned! Also, be sure to check in soon... I am approaching 5000 hits to my little blog here and will be giving away some blog candy as a thankyou!!

Tracy, I had an accident on Dec. 7th and am still going to PT for it. Sounds like you and I have the same sort of injury as it is my neck and shoulder also. I am now having sciatic pain in my right hip. Horrible to have to suffer because of someone elses mistake. I am mad each day. So, I just wanted to let you know that I know what you are going thru. Hope you feel better soon.
BTW, I love your blog.

Tracy, I hope you're feeling 100% soon! Could you tell me how you adhere your Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet letters to your cards? They are SO narrow!!
