{ 6 weeks and counting! }

All I can say today...I am so happy that all of MY dentist trips are over with! Yesterday? Not fun. Only had 4 small fillings done, but my jaw was so sore. I had a hard time opening wide enough for them to put the clamps and blue cover over my mouth. They almost broke me!! The dentist said to make sure to masage my jaw...ya right!...put heat on it and take some Advil before the freezing wore off...didn't really help...but I am still poppin' Advil today and most likely will be most of the week. It is definitely more sore now than last time. Oh well, like I said my visits are over with now. But Em goes back today for her second baby rootcanal. :0( Then she has one more small filling and she is done. Then it's Daddy's turn! heeheehee...yes I am evil!

I was thinkin' I don't have anything to share today, but I don't think I posted this one yet. If I did...ignore it! ;0) This was another one I made at our last Calgal gathering in March. Don't really like this one all that much. I messed up some paper piercing at the top and had to cover it with something...once again not thrilled with my ribbon technique. Oh well.

Hubby is off playing Ball Hockey tonight, so I think I might do some stampin'. I have a ton of RAK's that I have been meaning to get out, so I must do some of those and I need to play with my new Papertrey stamps(Butterfly Kisses & Little Lady ) that I have had for a week now!!

This was one lazy weekend! I pretty much spent the whole weekend reading

'New Moon'. I finished it yesterday. So before I go to the dentist today, I will be buying 'Eclipse'. I was worried that the second book would not be as good as the first one? No way! So good!! I can't wait to start on the next one. Then I will have to wait until August for the next one. :0( Oh well, I can read all 3 like a million more times before then. ;0)

Just thought I would share the other project I did with my ladies on Friday.

I just love these Tiny Treat Baskets. They are just too cute and quick to make.

Well, I am off to dentist again today...wish me luck. I am not looking forward to it and have been feeling quite sick since yesterday afternoon...so it should be a fun day...hopefully I don't get sick on the dentist!!

{ TGIF!! }

I am so happy it is Friday. I am off this weekend and plan to relax. Been feeling a bit off this week, thanks to my dentist visit on Monday...yes, still feeling off. I am going back on Monday and plan to talk to her about it. It feels like my whole jaw is out of alignment or something. I have been taking Advil all week and even tried some heat on my jaw yesterday...it felt soooooo good...until I took it off again! Oh well. One thing that helps is that I bought this yesterday...

I could not wait till my held copy at the library came in. I finished Twilight for the second time on Thursday and could wait no longer!! I know...I need help!! ;0)

I have my monthly stamp class tonight. I was gonna wait to show you anything but I was feeling so guilty for not posting anything this week...here it is.

We are doing the Cracked Glass technique tonight and one other project...but I will show you that this weekend. ;0) I really like this technique. It is a really nice effect...especially with snowflake and winter stamps.

{ Seven weeks...but who's counting? }

That's right...7 weeks today I will be on a plane for Disneyland! Woohoo! Although, it will be a small plane. Hubby was looking at things online and found out which planes we will be taking. Apparently, we will be on a 70 seater for our first flight to Seattle. Yikes! Oh well. I think I have been on one before. I will be fine...I will be fine...I will be fine ;0)


Sorry that it took me awhile to post again. Busy working this weekend and then yesterday I was at the dentist. Yikes!! I was going in thinking I was getting 3 fillings...apparently the dentist had other plans! I ended up with 7 fillings and 5 needles later!! Lets just say it was a fairly painful experience...since the freezing did not take at first and I almost took out the dental assistant! Lets just say that I will be poppin' Advil like candy today!


Thought I would share the lastest creation I did for my youngest to take to a bday party this past weekend. I had finally bought myself a few Mickey stamps last week and El decided she wanted me to make a Mickey card. So here it is...


I got my inspiration for this one from the great card that I received from miss DottieK...check it out here. I love this Mickey stamp. I will definitely be using it a lot!

{ I am obsessed! }

And it's not what you think...

I never thought it could be possible to be obsessed over a book, but it has happened. I know there are others out there that share a book obsession with me, but I never thought it would actually happen to me! I read yes, but not a lot. When I do read I love it, but it is just something that I do not do a lot of. Well, that has changed! There are only a few books in my life that I have read more than once...like maybe two. But this book? I can honestly see myself reading it on a continual basis. First off I must thank Shannon and Karrie. A few months back they had spoken about this book on their blog. So I decided to give it a read. Well, I put a hold on it at the library and it took me 3 months to finally get it...I had actually forgotten about it. I got it this week and OMG! Amazing! I finished it today and have put a hold on the next one...I just hope to GOD it does not take another 3 months. I must say...I might be heading off to Chapters this week...don't think I can hold on that long!! Although, I have the book for another few weeks...might have to read it a few more times! ;0) And the full 4 books are coming out in October in one volume...who am I kidding...I can't hold out that long!! ;0)

So how obsessed am I? How sad is this...I was doing some stampin' tonight, cause I have a bday card that my youngest needs for a bday party tomorrow and need to work on some projects for my next stamp class next week. But some how Twilight, just popped into my head...again! I ended up making this! A bookmark...for a book I don't even own! How sad is that!??! ;0)

But seriously...if you have not read this book...go...now! What are you waiting for? I tell ya...you will not be sorry! You will find this book in the Young Adult section. At first I thought it a little odd that I loved a book meant for teens so much...but hey, what about Harry Potter, right? I am 37 and proud to say...I LOVE THIS BOOK!!

Okay, I'm done now... heeheehee...but I am sure this will not be the last you hear of the Twilight Series!! ;0)

{ This is tough! }

I have been working all night and all morning trying to change up my blog template. Man it is tough!! I have seen lots of great looking blogs lately with the 3 panels, but mine just looks silly...or at least I have not found one I like. I wish I could make one myself...just not that computer savy to figure it all out. I did manage to make my own banner though. Nothing special, but I like it. I just need to figure out how to make my blog a big wider. But this one is good for now. What do you think?



Okay, a quick post today. I had to clean up my stampin' desk the other day and found a few cards that I had set aside to make. So here is one I did the other night...mainly just to clean up. ;0)



Pretty simple really. And one more to add to my Christmas pile. I think that makes 2 thus far...I need to get busy on those!!

p.s. Em is doing much better today. The dentist did an xray lastnight and the tooth looks really good. The gums are most likely just bruising. But she did have swelling and a fever, so she put her on some antibiotics just to be on the safe side. She woke up this morning much better. Although, she was crying a lot lastnight in her sleep...not sure why.

{ 8 weeks to go!! }

That's right 8 weeks yesterday until Disneyland, baby!!

It has been another whole week since I last posted! Wow! It started off that I did not have anything new to show you and then I was working so much last week...and then this week our oldest had to go to the dentist for her first filling...which ended up to be a baby root canal!!! Let's just say she did awesome, but it has not been fun. We are actually taking her back in tonight to get her checked. The dentist was pretty sure that it would abscess and it looks like it is. Poor thing.

I do have a few things to share though, so I promise to have a few posts this week...promise!

This first one was one I did on Saturday night with the Calgals(minus Allison who forgot about us...just kidding) A bunch of us Calgary gals had a used stamp sale at Nancy's house earlier on Saturday and I was lucky enough to pick up the retired SU set 'Water Color Minis'. So this is what I did with it Saturday night. The pic is not the best, but I really like this one. It is very simple, but pretty none the less.





Well, I am off to workout before the kids get home and then off to see the dentist again! Yikes!
