Too bad, Tracy!! I've heard that some people always have an extra on hand, just in case. It would be a shame to be working on something at the last minute and then have this happen!
I saw something recently that said that you should flip your B plates over ever few times through your 'bug to keep them from getting too warped and thus cracking.
I broke mine on Saturday night doing coasters with alpha diecuts - I actually broke 2. I hear that you can put the broken one on the bottom and keep going too. I have continued to emboss with my broken plates and it is still working. So don't throw them out - just use the broken one for the bottom.

Oooh! Tough break! Mine is really warped, I wonder if it will break soon too.
And I dented my favorite embossing folder yesterday! :(

Oh no... I've been hearing that you should flip that plate over every so often too. Wonder if that would extend the life?
